Eugene played for the Reidsville Black Lucky's, Jersey City All-Stars, Philadelphia Stars, Indianapolis Clowns, Greensboro Red Wings, Winston-Salem Pond Giants, Satchel Paige's All-Stars and Joe Black's All-Stars from 1943 to 1960.
