CARLOS ‘CHARLIE’ RIVERA (aka Rivero)

Charlie played infield for the Cuban Stars in 1933.  Six years later he joined the Baltimore Elite Giants, then was released to later play for the Ethiopian Clowns. He joined the New York Cubans in 1943 and hit .297. In 1944, his final season - he split time between the New York Cubans and the New York Black Yankees.
