WILLIAM H. POWELL

Died August 21, 2004

William was a pitcher for the Birmingham Black Barons as well as palying baseball in Cuba and Puerto Rico from 1946 to 1953. He was a member of the Negro League East-West All-Star team in 1948 and 1950. William also pitched in the minor leagues 1951 to 1961.
