Magee Rehabilitation Hospital in Philadelphia unveiled a permanent exhibit in its main lobby Tuesday honoring the late Roy Campanella, the Hall of Fame catcher of the Brooklyn Dodgers.

The exhibit includes the wheelchair Campanella used after a 1958 car accident that ended his playing career and left him a quadriplegic. The display also includes one of Campanella's Dodger jerseys, an early autographed photo and other memorabilia donated by his family.

Campanella grew up in the Nicetown section of Philadelphia and attended Simon Gratz High School. He left school at age 15 to play for the Baltimore Elite Giants in the Negro League
