The Harrisburg Young Professionals and the Society for American Baseball Research - Negro League Research Committee held the 6th annual Jerry Malloy Negro League Research Conference June 26-29, 2003 at the Crowne Plaza Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

The conference brought together more than thirty-six of the leading researchers in the field of Negro League baseball history as well as several players. It featured twelve research presentations, a player panel, trivia, a Harrisburg Senator game, a banquet, a baseball simulation tournament, a tour of significant sites, entertainment, art, exhibits, and more.
