The Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame held its annual awards banquet and induction ceremony at the Nashville Renaissance Hotel.

Former Negro League star, Henry Kimbro was inducted (Posthumous): The Nashville native was a legendary player in Negro Baseball League from 1937-51, playing in six all-star games. He had a career batting average of .315 and he led the league in stolen bases in 1944.
