| Does anybody know the actual death date for the great Cuban Stars player Pelayo Chacon? Pelayo was born in Havana, in 1889, and played from 1909-1931. Early reference books listing Pelayo, place his death in the 30's. However, there are some acounts of Pelayo managing Santa Clara in 1941. His son Elio, however, was born in 1936, while his other son, whom I can't find any birth records for, Pelayo Jr. played for Venezuelan's national team with Elio. Then Pelayo Jr. managed later in his career, perhaps up to 1959. Any help would be appreciated. Reply to this message

| Kevin - I show Pelayo Chacon being born on September 22, 1888, in Havana, Cuba, but I have no death date. I show Pelayo " Elio " Chacon being born on October 26, 1936, in Caracas, Vz., and a death date of April 24, 1992, in Caracas, Vz. I will attempt to find the death date of Pelayo for you.
