| I would like any information on Samuel White. He played with the ROCKETS in Indian Head Saskachewan. This was in 1954. He was based in Florida possibly with the Florida Cubans. A friend of his was Horace Lee Latham - also a baseball player. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Reply to this message

| I am also looking for a Samuel White, He was my grandfather. He lived in Memphis Tennessee for a while and he played in the Negro leagues. I am not sure it is the same one we are looking for. How old would he have been in 1954? My grandfather died in 1964, so maybe it is not the same one

| I am not sure if it the same one. His daugther is now 52 years of age. That would have made him approx 74 today. In 1954, he would have been approx 25 or a little younger. His daughter has one picture of him and I found a site where is photographed in his baseball uniform.
Sorry I did not reply sooner - but I was getting no replies so I stopped checking the site. Reply to this message
