ENRIQUE MAROTO

Enrique made his American baseball debut in 1954 with the Kansas City Monarchs of the Negro American League. Maroto was known for pulling double duty - when the Monarchs had a double header, he would often pitch the entire first game and spend the second game in the outfield. Maroto was signed by two Major League teams (Cardinals, 1956; Senators, 1957) but was not placed on a roster with either.
