HENRY KIMBRO

Henry Kimbro was a star in the Negro Leagues for fourteen years. Kimbro began his career with the Washington Elite Giants in 1937 and went on to compile a .315 lifetime batting average.

In his prime Kimbro was comsidered the best center fielder in the Negro National league and has been compared to Marquis Grissom. Kimbro was elected to the Negro League All-Star game six times.
