BYRON ‘MEX’ JOHNSON
aka ‘Jew Baby’ Johnson

Byron was an outstanding shortstop for the K.C. Monarchs and Satchel Paige All-Stars from 1937 to 1940, and was a member of the Negro League East-West All-Star team in 1938.
