HARLEM GLOBETROTTERS

The fabulously popular Harlem Globetrotters are an offspring of the old Negro League "clown" teams. In fact, men such as "Goose" Tatum and "Piper" Davis (whose claim to fame was discovering a gangly shy kid by the name of Willie Mays) played for both the "clown" teams and the Globetrotters.
