LOVELL ‘BIG PITCH’ HARDEN

A member of the Cleveland Buckeyes from 1943-1945, Lovell set a record in 1944 as a pitcher going 15-1.  After retiring from the Buckeyes, he played for the Pontiacs, an all black baseball team in Erie, Pennsylvania.
