Manuel, a pitcher, was born in Cuba. He played in the Negro Leagues, Mexico and Puerto Rico. In addition to his performance as to pitcher, he excelled with his ability as a batter. The Circle of Sport Journalists inducted him to the Hall of Fama of Venezuelan sport in 1992. | | | |
