MAHLON DUCKETT

Born: Dec. 20, 1922

Mahlon began his baseball career at the age of seventeen, when he joined the Philadelphia Stars in 1940.

He played for the Stars from 1940 to 1949 and finished out his Negro League career with the Homestead Grays in 1950.  

Mahlon was a smooth fielding and versatile infielder, having played third base, shortstop and second base positions.

Mahlon currently sits on the NLBPA Board of Directors.
