JAMES BUSTER ‘BUS’ CLARKSON
Born: Mar. 13, 1918 Died: Jan. 18, 1989 Bus was a right-handed power hitter who played all infield positions. He was a two-time all-star (1940 and 1949) and finished his 14 year black-ball career with a .359 lifetime batting average. Bus made it to professional baseball in 1952 with the Boston Braves where he batted .200 with only 25 at-bats.
