MATTHEW ‘LICK’ CARLISLE

Born: Feb 5, 1910
Died: Nov 18, 1972

Matt was a speedy infielder whose career spanned from 1931 to 1946.  He usually batted early in the order to set the plate for heavyweights such as Josh Gibson and Buck Leonard.
