Obituary

Clarence Jenkins Sr.,  Negro League legend, passed away Friday, October 6, 2006 at the VA Hospital of Detroit. Mr. Jenkins will lie in state Friday, October 13, 2006 at Linwood Church of Christ at 14001 Linwood, Detroit, from 1-8 p.m., with a special service held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. His funeral service will be on Saturday, October 14, 2006 at 10 a.m.  Burial site is in Woodlawn Cemetery, 19975 Woodward Avenue, Highland Park, Michigan 48203
