WILLIE C. YOUNG JR.

Born: July 12, 1912

Willie was born with just a left hand and considered that to be a highlight rather than a handicap.

Willie was a pitcher for the 1945 Birmingham Black Barons.  He also played for the Nashville Black Vols from 1949-50 (NSL) and the Stockham Valve Club of the Birmingham Industrial League (1935-45, 1950-52)
