BILL YANCEY
1904-1971

Yancey played shortstop between 1923-36 for many teams including: New York Lincoln Giants , Hilldale, New York Black Yankees, Brooklyn Eagles, New York Cubans, Philadelphia Giants, Philadelphia Tigers, Darby Daisies

He also managed in Latin America and helped develop baseball in Panama in the 1930s. He later scouted for the New York Yankees.
