MERVIN ‘RED’ RYAN

Red was a small right-handed pitcher from 1915 to 1932.  He earned his nickname because of his dark red hair.

He played for several clubs including the New York Lincoln Stars (1916), Atlantic City Bacharach Giants (1920-21), Harrisburg Giants (1922), but played most of his career with the Hilldale Daisies (1922-29, 1931).
