JIM PENDLETON
Born: Jan 7, 1924
Died: March 16, 1996

Jim played shortstop for the Chicago American Giants in 1948.  After a few years in the minors, he went on to a career in the majors.  First joining the Milwaukee Braves in 1953, he switched from shortstop to the outfield and hit .299 in a part-time role. Up and down thereafter, he hit .305 in 46 games for the 1957 Pirates.  He also went on the play for the Reds and the Astros.
