CLINTON ‘BUTCH’ McCORD

Clinton played for the Nashville Cubs, Nashville Black Vols, Baltimore Elite Giants and Chicago American Giants from 1946 to 1950.

Clinton also played for several minor league teams including the Denver Bears, Louisville Colonels, Victoria Rosebuds and St. Paul. He won two batting titles in the minors.

He also attended spring training in 1958 with the Detroit Tigers and Brooklyn Dodgers, although he never made it to the majors.
