GEORGE CROWE

George was a strong, powerful hitting first baseman. He began his career in 1947 with the New York Black Yankees. 

Between 1947 and 1952, he also played for the New York Cubans and in the minor leagues. 

He made it to the majors in 1952 with the Braves and played for a total of nine years in the majors.
