SUNGO CARRERA

Born: March 25, 1914, Cuba

Sungo played for the New York Cubans in 1938 and 1940-41, and for the Cuban Stars in 1939.  He played second base, third base, and the outfield. The photo shows Sungo in his Almendares (Cuban team) uniform.
